Danish and European politics in times of change

This subprojects focuses on changes in Danish and  West European politics from an agenda-setting persecptive. It is well-known that voters are floating, political parties have lost most of their membership and politics has become medialized. However, the understanding of politics without these characteristics  is fragmented. The starting point for this subproject is that agenda setting theory has become more important for understanding Danish and West European politics. Electoral behaviour for instance depends very much on voters' agenda but what sets voters' agenda?
