The dynamics of issue competition

Political parties increasingly compete over the content of the party political agenda. What issues should be central to party conflict. However, very little is known abut the dynamics of issue competition. This subproject focuses particularly on how a political party is able to force it opponents to take up issues the opponent would rather ignore.
