The Impact of Interest Organizations on the Political Agenda

Throughout the last decades, Danish interest groups have paid increasing attention to affecting the media agenda and thereby gaining political influence. This project investigates this development through analyzing the appearance of groups in the radio news. Do interest groups occupy a more central spot in the media today than previously? Which groups are particularly successful in attracting media attention? And how does the media appearance of interest groups compare to that of other actors like political parties?
